A couple days ago, I saw this Red-Tailed Hawk in our yard. I don't know why, but recently I've been seeing a lot of these hawks perching on the telephone poles near our house. The other times i'd seen them, I didn't have the camera, but this time i was ready. I didn't get as close as i hoped, but i still am happy with the shots i got.
I also have been seeing a lot of Northern Flickers recently. I caught this one right as he was flying away.
Last week i went down to the waterfront to try and see some birds, but all i saw were some seagulls and geese. The only good picture i got was of this Ring-Billed Gull.
I was looking for birds in our garden, and instead i found a cat. The cat was really friendly and came and laid next to me. He also was rolling in the dirt, which was funny.
His eyes were so pretty, and i love the close up shots i got of him.
